Trekronå is located in Ogna in Rogaland, about an hour from Stavanger and 25 minutes from Egersund. This makes it a natural choice for those looking for a wooden cabin in Western Norway - a bit out of the way, but still close enough for a break when you need it.

Nature and comfort
A calmer pace begins already at the way in
From the parking lot, you walk about 10-15 minutes towards Trekronå. With each step, the road gets quieter, and the pine forest gets closer. When you arrive, the cabins stand raised above the ground on their characteristic steel legs - shielded between the trees, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
You don't have to choose between nature and comfort. Both cabins have their own bathroom with shower, a well-equipped kitchenette, underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, and a small balcony. They are best suited for up to three people, but have sleeping space for five for those who prefer to live close together.
There is no strict schedule you have to follow here. You can cook dinner together, go to the beach, find peace by the fire, or just sit and watch the light change between the trees.
Some come for a romantic stay for two. Others bring friends or family. The common denominator is the desire for a different kind of stay in Rogaland, with enough tranquility to be more present and enough comfort to put your shoulders back down.

Green cabin
The green cabin is cozy nestled among the pine trees, with the sound of the stream and the birds close by. From the small balcony you can have your morning coffee outside and let the forest wake up around you. This is the cabin for you who want to get as close as possible to the peaceful part of the forest.
Forest and open landscape
Yellow cabin
The yellow cabin is located a little higher in the terrain, with both forest and open landscape as its nearest neighbors. On clear days, you can glimpse the sea between the pine trees. Here you get a more airy view, while still living in a sheltered and close-knit environment.
An extra break
Minispa between the trees
Make your stay even more relaxing with Trekronås’ mini spa. Here you’ll find an outdoor massage bubble bath, a warm outdoor shower, and an indoor sauna – surrounded by pine trees and fresh air.
Behind the mini spa is a cozy fruit garden with seating, a hammock, and space to read, do yoga, or just relax. The mini spa can be booked as an additional service during your stay and used for the agreed-upon time, allowing guests in both cabins to enjoy it.
Architecture and character
Designed to escape nature inside
The treetop cabins are designed by architect Manuela Hardy, inspired by the wooden cabins from her childhood, the pine forest, and the shape of the king. Large windows on several sides – and in the ceiling – allow the daylight, the stars, and the forest to become part of the room.
In just 15 square meters, each cabin has been designed to accommodate a kitchen, bathroom, seating area and sleeping space without feeling overcrowded. The materials, furniture and local craftsmanship details have been chosen to create a whole that feels warm, simple and close to nature.

From pine forest to the Jær beaches
Each place brings together many of the contrasts that make Southern Jæren special: forests and open countryside, warm beaches and the open sea, quiet trails and changing weather. From Trekronå you can walk towards the beaches, play golf close by or explore the area on foot or by bike.
Ogna Scene offers concerts and cultural experiences throughout the year, and the National Tourist Route Jæren makes it easy to combine your stay with several stops along the coast. You can also take the train to Ogna and continue to Trekronå – an easy way to leave your car behind and start your break already on the journey.
